Rita Alarcão Júdice tomou posse como Ministra da Justiça do XXV Governo Constitucional a 5 de junho de 2025. Foi Ministra da Justiça no XXIV Governo Constitucional.
Nas eleições legislativas de 10 de março de 2024 e de 18 de maio de 2025, Rita Alarcão Júdice foi reeleita deputada pelo círculo de Coimbra, distrito onde foi cabeça de lista pela Aliança Democrática (AD). Da sua biografia política consta, ainda, a sua participação no Conselho Estratégico Nacional (CEN), um fórum de reflexão e de aconselhamento do PSD, que antecedeu as eleições legislativas.
Antes de assumir funções Governativas, e durante 25 anos, Rita Alarcão Júdice foi advogada num dos maiores escritórios de advogados do país, onde era sócia. Na sociedade de Advogados PLMJ, coordenou a área de Imobiliário e Turismo desde 2013.
Enquanto advogada foi membro da Comissão Executiva da Urban Land Institute (ULI) Portugal e associada da Women in Real Estate (WIRE Portugal).
Licenciou-se em Direito pela Faculdade de Direito da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Natural de Coimbra, é casada e tem três filhos.

Rita Alarcão Júdice took office as Minister of Justice in the XXV Constitutional Government on June 5th, 2025, for a second term, after having the same role in the previous government. Rita was elected member of the parliament, for two mandates, being elected in the elections in 2024 and in 2025 as head of the candidates running for Coimbra, by the Democratic Alliance (AD). Her political biography also includes her participation in the National Strategic Council (CEN), a think tank for the Social Democrat Party (PSD).
Rita was a lawyer for over 25 years at one of the largest Portuguese law firms, where she seated as a partner. At the PLMJ law firm, Rita led the Real Estate and Tourism practice since 2013.
As a lawyer, she was a member of the Executive Committee of ULI Portugal (Urban Land Institute) and an associate of WIRE Portugal (Women in Real Estate).
Rita is graduated in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. Born in Coimbra, she is married and a mother of three.
