Ana Luísa Machado, Secretária de Estado da Justiça
Ana Luísa Machado tomou posse como Secretária de Estado da Justiça do XXV Governo Constitucional a 6 de junho de 2025.
Antes de assumir funções governativas, Ana Luísa Machado presidia, em regime de substituição, ao Conselho Diretivo do Instituto de Gestão Financeira e Equipamentos da Justiça, I.P. (IGFEJ), desde dezembro de 2024. Entre abril e dezembro do mesmo ano, exerceu funções como Chefe do Gabinete da Secretária de Estado da Justiça do XXIV Governo Constitucional, Maria José Barros.
Com mais de 20 anos de carreira jurídica, iniciou a colaboração com a Fundação de Serralves em 2011 e, de outubro de 2021 até abril de 2024, coordenou o Serviço Jurídico daquela instituição.
Entre 2015 e 2022 foi sócia e gerente de sociedades comerciais nas áreas da reabilitação de imóveis, hospedagem e turismo, com responsabilidade no desenvolvimento e coordenação de projetos.
Exerceu advocacia entre 2004 e 2024, com intervenção em diversas áreas do Direito, nomeadamente direito administrativo, propriedade intelectual, direito do consumo e fiscal.
Entre 2008 e 2016 colaborou com a Helpo, ONGD, em Moçambique, no Brasil e em Portugal, onde assumiu funções de coordenação de projetos e representação regional.
Licenciou-se em Direito pela Universidade Católica Portuguesa em 2002 e em 2022 concluiu o Mestrado em Ciências Jurídico-Administrativas pela Universidade do Porto.
É natural do Porto.

Ana Luísa Machado took office as Secretary of State for Justice of the XXV Constitutional Government on June 6, 2025.
Before taking up her government duties, Ana Luísa chaired the Board of Directors of the Institute for Financial Management and Equipment of Justice, I.P. (IGFEJ), since December 2024. Between April and December of the same year, she served as Chief of Staff of the Secretary of State for Justice of the XXIV Constitutional Government, Maria José Barros.
With a legal career spanning more than 20 years, she began working with the Serralves Foundation in 2011 and, from October 2021 until April 2024, she coordinated that institution's Legal Service.
Between 2015 and 2022, she was a partner and manager of commercial companies in the areas of property refurbishment, accommodation and tourism, with responsibility for developing and coordinating projects.
She acted as a lawyer between 2004 and 2024, in various areas of law, including administrative law, intellectual property, consumer and tax law.
Between 2008 and 2016 she worked with Helpo, an NGDO, in Mozambique, Brazil and Portugal, where she was responsible for project coordination and regional representation.
She graduated in Law from the Portuguese Catholic University in 2002 and in 2022 she completed a Master's degree in Legal and Administrative Sciences at the University of Porto.
She was born in Porto.
